Description
Not just a hat.
A silhouette designed to face the rain.
Born on the shore and worn by shore fishermen, the chalutier was made to protect against the elements. At Béton Ciré, we reinterpret it in a water-repellent version, designed to move from the coast to the city without losing its purpose.
Its shape is essential: a structured crown and a long brim that covers the neck.
Made in Europe from a water-repellent fabric, it shields from rain while maintaining a clean, defined silhouette.
The adjustable cord ensures a secure fit, even in windy conditions.
Key features:
Effective protection against rain
Long brim covering the neck
Durable water-repellent fabric
Secure fit with adjustable cord
Made in Europe
A hat designed to last, and to accompany you in all weather.
Size
The sizes are unisexe and correspond to your head measurement, in centimeters.
The head circumference is measured at the largest side of the head. If you do not have a measuring tape to help you know the size of your head, you can use a ribbon or a string to go around it. Then, you can simply transfer the corresponding length to a ruler.
If the measurement obtained is between two sizes, we recommend you to choose the larger size.
The Miki docker beanies, for example, are all adjustable thanks to their leather strap
(sometimes the strap is available in another material depending on the themes of the season).

Care
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL OUR FABRIC HATS :
We highly recommend a dry cleaning for all of our hats that contain leather or for hats made with very fragile fabrics such as: Wool, Merinos, Straw, Linen or Felt.
However, our team and our clients have machine washed without any problem. Don't forget that leather is not supposed to be machine washed and will probably change aspect in contact of water.
If you decide to machine wash our hats do not put them in the dryer!!! Once out of the machine, place them on a round form so that the fabric keeps its round shape.
Use a sticky roller brush to remove dust.
